Tony Bennett
CEO

Tony joined HealthSouth Emerald Coast Rehabilitation Hospital in 2003. He began his career in rehabilitation in 1991 as a chief financial officer in South Florida. He has more than a decade of experience in the rehabilitation field and more than two decades of experience in health care. Tony graduated from the University of West Florida in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and earned a certificate in public accounting (CPA) in 1985. He received a master’s degree in business administration in 1997 from New York Institute of Technology. 


Michael Hennigan, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Hennigan has been with HealthSouth Emerald Coast since its opening in 1997. He graduated from Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in New Jersey and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in New Jersey. Dr. Hennigan is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.


Eric Crossan
Director Of Therapy Operations
Eric has more than 12 years experience in the healthcare industry. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Tuskegee University and a Master's of Healthcare Administration from Austin Peay State University. Crossan is a native Floridian and has recently relocated back to Florida from Tennessee where he led a team of professionals in an acute care hospital consisting of an inpatient rehab center, outpatient therapy department, and freestanding Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Center.

Angela Eddins
Controller
Angela joined the Inpatient Accounting Department at HealthSouth in 1997 and relocated to HealthSouth Emerald Coast Rehabilitation Hospital in 2004. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a master’s degree in business administration in 2000.

Traci Powell

Traci has more than 10 years experience in healthcare human resources management, with a total of six years with HealthSouth. Traci oversees all areas of human resources, such as recruitment and retention. She is a member of the local Human Resources Management Association, along with various other volunteer organizations.


Adrienne Bartle

Adrienne began her career wtih HealthSouth in case management in 1999 at HealthSouth Tallahassee. In 2005, she transferred to case management at HealthSouth Emerald Coast and in 2009, was promoted to senior case manager. Adrienne graduated from Florida State University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in social work. Before beginning her career at HealthSouth, she worked as a social services director for two years in a local Skilled Nursing Facility.


Lidia Webb

Lidia joined HealthSouth Emerald Coast Rehabilitation Hospital in 2007 following a 22-year career in the United States Air Force. She graduated from William Patterson College in New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Troy University in Alabama. Lidia is dual certified as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHE) and a Nurse Executive. She is the president of the Panhandle Local Program Council of the ACHE North Florida Chapter. She is also a member of the International Honor Society of Nursing. Lidia has 30 years of healthcare experience with five years experience in hospital accreditation and patient safety.


John Shepherd

John is responsible for the environment of care, safety, transportation and physical maintenance/operations of the hospital. His more than 25 years of experience in maintenance/operations, supervisory skills, and knowledge of local and state regulatory codes and Joint Commission standards are an asset to the hospital. He worked as director of plant operations to help open the hospital in 1997, left briefly and returned in 2002.


Cindy Carpenter
DMO

Cindy joined HealthSouth Sunrise 2000 and relocated to Panama City in 2002. She has worked in healthcare marketing for more than 14 years.
